IJR invites dynamic youth leaders and changemakers from across the SADC region to apply for the upcoming Youth Peace Lab!

• Duration:  3 days
• Participants: 20
• Format: Intensive workshop with sessions that will bring together youth from diverse backgrounds to engage in meaningful focus group discussions, individual work, and presentations on the YPS framework, leadership, and innovation. Participants will explore strategies to overcome challenges, share success stories, and build supportive networks to co-create innovative solutions and be empowered to lead positive change in their communities, workplaces, and beyond.
• Outcomes: Recommendations for programming, practices, and policy solutions tailored to regional needs.

Who Can Apply?

• Youth between the ages of 25 and 40 years old.
• Youth passionate about peace and security in their communities.
• Individuals with an active interest in advancing YPS objectives.
• Representatives from civil society, academia, or local governance with a passion for innovation in peace processes.
• Must reside in a SADC country.
• Must have a valid passport and be able to communicate in English.
