South African Coalition for Transitional Justice Annual General Meeting

The SACTJ was established by civil society organisations in 2011 to hold the South African government accountable to its obligations and commitments to justice, redress and reparation. In 2023, thanks to funding from the Constitutionalism Fund, the SACTJ registered as a non-profit organisation, hired staff, and established on-going projects and a public presence.

The organisational members are:

  • Centre for Applied Legal Studies (CALS)
  • Violence Prevention Agency
  • CSVR
  • Foundation for Human Rights
  • Human Rights Media Centre
  • Institute for the Healing of Memories
  • Imam Haron Foundation
  • IJR
  • Trauma Centre
  • Khulumani Galela Campaign
  • Open Secrets
