SACTJ Reparations Conference

IJR is a member of the SACTJ which is organising a national conference on reparations as part of its work on the unfinished business of the TRC.  The President’s Fund, which was established for reparations, is currently worth R1,8 billion and is not being distributed, while individuals and communities continue to suffer from the effects of apartheid.  The conference is designed to bring together victims, survivors and other stakeholders to chart a way forward as part of ongoing advocacy on this issue.
