Ziyanda Stuurman

Ziyanda Stuurman is a former policy researcher, currently communications Coordinator for Southern Africa for Afrobarometer based at IJR. Her interest areas include public policy, security, human rights, labor rights, immigration issues and gender studies on the African continent and South Africa in particular. Ziyanda is a former Fulbright and Chevening Scholar from Cape Town and holds a MA in Conflict, Security and Development from Sussex University, and a MA in Sustainable International Development from Brandeis University. Her undergraduate degrees are in International Relations and Political Science, from Stellenbosch University.
