Phindile Sibanyoni is a 23 year old from Delmas Mpumalanga with a National Diploma in Public Relations and currently doing a Btech (part time) at Tshwane University of Technology. Previously, Phindille worked at a Non-profit organisation which focused on providing social welfare interventions and services to vulnerable members in that community. These services include issues of drugs and substance abuse, unemployment as well as skills development. This was part of her work integrated learning.
Phindile was responsible for communicating with internal and external stakeholders, event management, social media management and sponsorship relations. Phindile is a very optimistic person who is very dedicated and enjoys tackling challenges and learning new things in order to develop her skills.
She obtained a lot of skills at the Government Communications and Information Systems Department where she was volunteering. In the latter position, Phindile assisted with media monitoring, handling press releases and government campaigns.
During this time, because of her abilities and creativeness she created and led her very own campaign on Anti-Racism in schools and partnered with the national Safe School Helpline where leaners could get assistance
Her interests include travelling, networking and meeting new people with different interests.
