Jaynisha is the Project leader for Inclusive Economies in the Research and Policy Programme. As part of the project, she seeks out links between inclusive development and peace across Africa. Through assessing the state of development, the political economy and the social landscape, she uncovers truths about, and solutions to, sustainable peace.

Prior to joining IJR, Jaynisha worked in counter-human trafficking where she gained unique experience working with law enforcement and international organisations to understand trends in trafficking and rescue victims.

Jaynisha holds a Master of Philosophy Degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE) from the University of Cape Town.
