Terms of Reference: Content Production for the IJR Annual Report Draft (2023) 

  1. Introduction:

The Institute for Justice and Reconciliation, a non-profit organisation based in Cape Town, is seeking the services of a skilled annual report content producer/service provider for the development of its annual report draft copy for the year 2023.

  1. Scope of Work:

The selected service provider is expected to undertake the following tasks:

  1. Content Development:

– Generate compelling and informative content that aligns with the organization’s mission and achievements for the year.

– Highlight key projects, success stories, and noteworthy events.

  1. Copy Editing and Proofreading:

– Ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in written content.

– Proofread the draft for grammatical errors and typos.

  1. Infographics Creation:

– Produce high-quality infographics to visually represent data and key metrics.

  1. Target Audience:

The annual report is primarily targeted at the organization’s stakeholders, including donors, partners, board members, staff and the general public. The content should be tailored to resonate with these diverse audiences.

  1. Style and Tone:

The content should be reader-friendly, engaging, and reflective of a professional tone. The goal is to create a document that is both informative and visually appealing, presenting a positive image of the organization.

  1. Deliverables:

The service provider is expected to deliver the following:

  1. A comprehensive draft of the annual report in digital format.
  2. High-quality infographics relevant to the report’s content.
  1. Timeline:

The project is expected to be completed by no later than 30 January 2024. Regular check-ins and updates on progress should be provided to the contact person with supporting proofs.

  1. Qualifications:

The service provider should have demonstrable experience in content creation for non-profit organizations or similar entities. Previous experience in annual report production is highly desirable.

  1. Proposal Submission:

  1. Evaluation Criteria:

Proposals will be evaluated based on:

  • Experience and expertise in content production for non-profit organizations.
  • Proposed approach and methodology.
