Malibongwe holds an Honours degree in the Social Sciences (Public Policy and Administration) from the University of Cape Town which has not only anchored his interest in public policies but has also fueled further interest in social development.
His interest in social development has been centred around early education development and youth development. In the last year, his focus shifted to efforts that sought to tackle xenophobic attitudes in South Africa.
Previously, he has worked as an intern for the DG Murray Trust and as a Project Officer at ALPS Resilience, where he worked on a project that sought to foster social cohesion in 10 communities in four provinces.
Welcome Malibongwe to the IJR family!
