Transitional Justice Options for Zimbabwe: A Guide to Key Concepts
This series aims to further research and analysis on issues of justice, social and economic reconstruction, reconciliation and healing in Zimbabwe. The publication targets political actors, civil society organisations, academics and the general population. It seeks to promote critical debate and to develop, through strategic analyses and scenario setting, frameworks for gendered approaches to justice, reconciliation and healing.
Kudakwashe Chitsike is a Zimbabwean lawyer and women’s rights activist with over 10 years of experience working on human rights, democracy and governance issues in Zimbabwe. She holds an LMM in International Public Law from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa. She is a member of the Coalition for Women’s Human Rights in Conflict Situations, and a board member of three non-governmental organisations in Zimbabwe. In 2010 she was one of the jurors for the Women’s Link Worldwide Gender Justice Awards. Chitsike was also a lecturer in the Faculty of Law at the University of Zimbabwe between 2001 and 2003.
