Economic Transformation

"Since 1994 government embarked upon a comprehensive programme to provide a legislative framework for the transformation of our economy. New laws have restored rights to land and tenure; have prescribed unfair discrimination; and, introduced specific active measures to overcome the distortions in the labour market, as well as provide new economic opportunities to historically disadvantaged persons".
